Job Description,

To lead the international expansion of the white-labelled 2gthr platform by identifying priority mutuals, shaping market-entry plans, and converting strategic opportunities into signed, commercially viable rollout programmes. The role owns senior engagement with global mutuals and their local partners, including commercial models, legal and regulatory considerations, localisation requirements, funding and partnership strategies, and mobilisation of internal and external teams to deliver successful market launches.

Requirements,

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Strategy, Law, Finance, Technology or related field essential.
  • Postgraduate qualification, MBA or equivalent executive qualification advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum 12-15 years’ senior experience in strategy, business development, partnerships, platform rollout, market expansion or transformation, ideally in financial services, mutuals, insurance, technology or digital ecosystems.
  • Proven track record engaging and negotiating with C-suite stakeholders across complex, multi-country environments.
  • Experience shaping commercial agreements, partnership models, localisation programmes and regulated-market implementation plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to mobilise matrix teams and external partners from strategy through launch and scale.

  • Understanding of platform localisation, white-labelling, data, privacy, legal and regulatory considerations across markets.

Duties and Responsibilities,

Global rollout strategy and opportunity prioritisation

  • Identify, assess and prioritise target mutuals and markets for 2gthr platform rollout, using clear strategic, commercial, regulatory and operational criteria.
  • Develop market-entry and rollout plans covering sequencing, partner model, localisation scope, implementation approach, risks, dependencies and success measures.
  • Build the global pipeline and maintain executive-level visibility of progress, decisions required, and value potential.

Mutual engagement, commercial models and negotiation

  • Lead senior engagement with targeted mutuals, from initial positioning and needs discovery through to business case, proposition design and agreement.
  • Shape commercial models, pricing, fee structures, revenue-sharing and funding approaches that support sustainable adoption and mutual value creation.
  • Negotiate key commercial terms in partnership with Finance, Legal, Product and Executive leadership.

Localisation, regulation and implementation mobilisation

  • Determine where and how the 2gthr platform must be localised, including language branding, product configuration, member journeys, integrations, data, privacy and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate legal and regulatory assessments for each market and ensure rollout plans are aligned to local compliance obligations and governance standards.
  • Mobilise cross-functional localisation teams and delivery partners, ensuring clear scope, timelines, decision rights, dependencies and launch readiness.

Partnership strategy and execution governance

  • Support global mutuals in identifying local partners and shaping partner strategies needed to launch and scale 2gthr in-market.
  • Establish rollout governance, performance reporting, issue escalation and post-launch optimisation routines across markets.
  • Protect the integrity of the 2gthr brand, platform model and mutuality principles while enabling appropriate local adaptation.
