Internal Sales - Major Tech

We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking and motivated individual to join our dynamic sales team in a fast-paced environment!

The candidate will be responsible for the following (including but not limited to):

• Process orders via email, over the phone as well as assisting with over-the-counter sales for walk in customers.
• Ensure that the information on customer orders and invoices is correct.
• Liaise with the warehouse department to ensure timely deliveries of orders (accurate scheduling of delivery times).
• Assisting with quarterly stock takes, including but not limited to the preparation leading up to stock takes.
• Understand customer needs and requirements and continuously promoting products to new and existing customers.
• Contacting customers to ensure the accuracy of information on the invoices.
• Following up on sales quotes on a weekly basis.
• Maintain accurate records of all follow - ups made with the customer and presenting feedback to Management.
• Updating product knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participation in on-the-job training opportunities.
• Communicating with customers, by making outbound calls to potential customers and following up on leads, by referring the customer to the respective external sales representatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Qualification – Matric (Grade 12).
• 2 – 3 years’ experience in the Warehouse and / or Retail Industry.
• Computer Literacy: MS Excel: Intermediate.
• Experience on Sage X3 would be beneficial.
• Experience working with electrical equipment and tools would be advantageous.

Basic Salary

R 15 000.00. (Negotiable and will be based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience).
