Project Manager - CONSTRUCTION

Our client, a construction company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong consulting background to join their team. The ideal candidate will have approximately 8 years of project management experience within the built environment and be ready to transition their consulting expertise into a construction-focused role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage building and construction projects from planning through to completion.
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, resources, quality and timelines.
• Coordinate and manage professional consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Review and manage project documentation, drawings, specifications and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Identify project risks, delays and challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project meetings and ensure actions are followed through.
• Prepare detailed project progress reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed scope, budget, programme and quality standards.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science or a related field.
• Approximately 8 years' relevant project management experience.
• Strong consulting background within the built environment is essential.
• Experience working on building and construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning, coordination and delivery.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultants and professional teams.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and drive successful delivery.
• Professional, proactive and results-oriented approach.
