FIXED-ASSET APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

A-Solutions is looking for a highly accurate and detail-oriented Fixed-Asset Application Support Specialist to support a client’s NetTrace application.

This is not a traditional desktop-support or hardware-repair position. The role is best suited to someone with financial, supply-chain, logistics or asset-management experience who is comfortable working with business applications and large amounts of data.

This person will receive training on the NetTrace application, but must already understand fixed-asset processes, reconciliations and the importance of accurate financial and audit information.

Location: Pretoria – based onsite

Start date: 1 October 2026

Employment type: 10 Month Contract

Key responsibilities

• Support users of the NetTrace application.
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of Fixed Asset Register information.
• Reconcile physically verified assets against system records.
• Investigate missing, duplicated or incorrect asset information.
• Process approved asset movements, transfers, disposals and adjustments.
• Prepare and check bulk data uploads.
• Perform quality checks to protect data integrity.
• Assist with quarterly and annual fixed-asset reporting.
• Provide schedules and supporting information for internal and external audits.
• Log, investigate and resolve application-related incidents.
• Escalate technical system problems where necessary.

Minimum requirements

• At least five years’ relevant working experience.
• A relevant certificate, diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Asset Management or a related field.
• Experience working with fixed assets, stock, inventory or a Fixed Asset Register.
• Experience reconciling physical items against system or financial records.
• Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new applications.
• Good Microsoft Excel and data-processing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work permanently onsite in Pretoria.

Advantageous

• Previous experience supporting an enterprise business application.
• Experience with financial or ERP systems.
• Exposure to physical asset-verification projects.
• Experience assisting with audits or financial reporting.
• An A+ qualification or equivalent technical knowledge.
• Basic networking knowledge or an N+ qualification.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident, problem and change-management processes.
• Previous experience with NetTrace.
