- WE ARE HIRINGThe Grape Company, PaarlOur client, a Paarl-based exporter of quality table grapes, is looking for a Junior Product Manager.An exciting opportunity for an experienced, detail-driven professional with a passion for quality, production and the table grape industry.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-harvest crop preparation & vineyard involvement
- Allocation and coordination of pack programmes and packaging materials
- Harvest & post-harvest quality management
- Quality control of product and packaging
- Data capturing, analysis & producer feedback
- Cultivar evaluation & planting recommendations
- Technical & R&D advisory support
- Due diligence management
- Grower & export client interaction
- Implementation of sustainability requirementsREQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in table grapes or fresh produce
- Diploma/Degree in Viticulture, Horticulture or related field
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal & teamwork skills
- Calm, professional & persuasive under pressure
- Fully bilingual: Afrikaans & English
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willing to travel and work away from home regularly
