About Our Client

Our Client is a leading supplier of compressed air and air treatment solutions, supporting customers across a range of industries. This role offers the opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment with the potential to transition to permanent employment.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Sheet Metal Fibreglass Worker you will be responsible for the below duties:

• Operating CNC-style machinery and weld pin machines
• Fabricating and assembling sheet metal ductwork and components
• Measuring, cutting and fitting fibreglass insulation to ductwork
• Cutting, shaping and installing fibreglass materials to required dimensions
• Applying adhesives, tapes, sealants and mechanical fasteners
• Installing insulation to ductwork to project specifications
• Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and work instructions
• Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Measuring and checking finished work for accuracy and quality
• Sealing joints, edges and penetrations to achieve a quality finish

What you will need

To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

• Previous sheet metal or fibreglass experience
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to measure and work accurately
• Ability to complete Drug and Alcohol screening
• Trade qualification is not required
