An international mining product development, manufacturing and consulting company in Kempton Park is looking for an Executive /Engineering Manager with an Electronic Engineering degree and 15-20 years of proven Electronic Product development on a managerial level. Strong strategic leadership and mentorship experience required.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• BEng in Electronic Engineering
• Applied experience in emerging information technologies such as digital platforms, machine learning, data analytics, computer vision, sensing, and autonomous systems.
• 15-20 years of proven electronic product development and engineering leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical leadership experience.
• General Management and budgeting experience.
• Ability to define and evolve a technology strategy that directly supports strategic business vision, growth strategy, and profitability.
• Demonstrated success record and strong professional reputation with a vibrant professional network.
• Experience working and interacting with executive clients.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Ability to deliver complex content in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to multiple audiences, including employees, business leaders, journalists, and engineers.
• Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Own the company’s overall technology and innovation strategy.
• Develop technology roadmaps, prioritise R&D investments
• Programme manage all research and new product development projects within the electronic Product design space.
• Lead and manage the Engineering department.
• Evaluate technologies and products
