SA Konexion (SA) (Pty) Ltd is a South African Employer of Record and specialist recruitment firm. We employ South African professionals locally while they work remotely for UK-based clients, managing end-to-end recruitment, candidate profiling, HR compliance, payroll and client relationships. As a fast-growing business, we are looking for an HR & Payroll Administrator to join our internal team and help us build the systems and support that our growing staff complement and client base depend on.

This is a broad, hands-on HR generalist role covering the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to performance management, compliance and employee wellbeing. You will work closely with the HR & Recruitment team to keep our people processes accurate, compliant and running smoothly as the business scales.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Staffing - support the hiring process, from advertising roles to candidate selection and career events
  • Onboarding - facilitate smooth integration of new employees, including orientation, training and initial performance evaluations
  • Employee Relations - act as liaison between employees and the company, handling complaints, resolving conflicts and disciplinary procedures
  • Performance Management - implement review systems, provide feedback and coaching, and develop training programmes
  • Compensation and Benefits - ensure accurate pay and benefits administration and advise on compensation and legal compliance
  • Policy Development - create, update and implement HR policies and procedures in line with best practice and company goals
  • Record Keeping - maintain accurate, confidential personnel records, with timely updates to employee data and benefits
  • Compliance and Legal Guidance - advise on and ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations and workplace safety policies
  • Employee Support and Wellbeing - arrange support services and promote initiatives that enhance staff wellbeing and inclusion
  • HR Projects - manage employee engagement, team building and culture-building initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations and performance management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies and processes
