Environmental Consultant

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic environmental professional to support and contribute to environmental and social impact assessment projects. This opportunity is well suited to a candidate with a few years of relevant experience who is looking to develop their technical and project management capabilities within the environmental consulting field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of ESIA processes, including scoping, baseline studies, impact assessments, mitigation measures, and monitoring plans.
• Support stakeholder engagement and consultation activities.
• Assist with preparing ESIA reports and other environmental and social documentation.
• Help ensure projects comply with relevant local, national, and international environmental and social standards.
• Provide environmental support and technical input to project teams.
• Contribute to environmental assessments, research, data analysis, and project documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

• BSc degree in Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree or equivalent qualification will be advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in environmental consulting, ESIA, or a related field.
• Good understanding of environmental assessment processes and applicable legislation.
• Exposure to stakeholder engagement and consultation processes.
• Knowledge of international lender standards will be advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
