Driver/General Worker-Upington

A well established Paint company is looking for an experienced and responsible, well spoken and excellent mannered Driver to join our Upington team.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Preferably)
• Valid EC (code 14) drivers licence compulsory
• PDP (D)
• 3 years experience

Duties

• Pick products according Picking slips
• Physical loading of products
• Check Invoices with products
• Check vehicle and do general inspection
• Do route planning in consultation with Warehouse Manager
• Respect traffic signs and road rules
• Monitor traffic flow to deliver products on time
• Logs must be kept
• Often receive payments and submit to head office
• Responsible for neatness and washing of the vehicle
• Responsible in warehouse to help with moving and picking and packing of products on the shelves
• Any other assignment as determined by the Manager

Skills Requirements

• Person should be very considerate
• Responsible and honest
• Proven excellent driver’s record
• Candidate must have good communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
• Candidates must be energetic and in good health

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 7h30 to 17h00
