Junior Systems & Network Technician

WFSA Projects is looking for a Junior Systems & Network Technician to join our Projects team.

This is an entry-level, site-based opportunity suited to a technically minded and hands-on individual who is eager to learn, develop their technical skills and build a career in network and electronic systems.

The successful candidate will assist with network installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and technical projects across various customer and project sites.

Assist with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of network and technical systems.

Maintain and troubleshoot LAN networks, switches, routers and wireless equipment.

Assist with network cabling, terminations and connectivity testing.

Perform preventative maintenance and routine system inspections.

Assist with fault finding on technical and electronic systems.

Install and configure network-connected equipment.

Support senior technicians with site installations and maintenance.

Test systems following repairs and installations.

Entry-level / junior candidates are encouraged to apply.

Basic knowledge or experience in IT, networking or electronic systems.

Understanding of IP addressing and basic LAN networking will be advantageous.

Experience with network cabling and basic hand tools will be beneficial.

Technically minded with good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness and ability to learn new systems and technologies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel and work at different sites.

A valid driver's licence would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
