Senior Frontend Software Developer

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Software Developer to join their Cape Town-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer to contribute to the development and enhancement of established web applications while working within a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using .NET technologies.
• Build and maintain solutions using ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC.
• Develop and maintain database functionality, including stored procedures and table structures.
• Implement new features while applying industry-standard database design and development practices.
• Work with frontend technologies to deliver responsive and user-friendly applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure robust, maintainable and effective solutions.

Requirements

• 5–10 years' experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC.
• Strong proficiency in VB.NET and C#.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
• Solid SQL experience, including stored procedures and the creation and management of table structures.
• Strong understanding of software development and database design principles.

Advantageous

• Experience with .NET MAUI.
• Experience with .NET Core.
