Junior BPM Developer

We are seeking a motivated Junior BPM Developer (Level 1/2) or recent graduate for an entry-level, client-facing opportunity based in Sunninghill, Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior consultants, assist with analysing business processes, and contribute to the development and implementation of workflow automation solutions.

• Gather and understand client requirements and process challenges.
• Assist with designing, developing and implementing BPM and workflow solutions.
• Model business processes using BPMN principles.
• Configure workflows, business rules, forms and automation logic.
• Work with BPM platforms such as AppWorx, Staffware, TIBCO, Lombardi/IBM BPM or Metastorm.
• Assist with integrations between BPM, ECM and other enterprise systems.
• Support requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, training and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and client stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related BSc
• Recent graduate or up to two years’ relevant experience.
• Practical or academic exposure to BPM or workflow automation platforms.
• Exposure to OpenText products or Enterprise Content Management systems.
• Understanding of BPM, BPMN, business rules and automation methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client-service, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Clean criminal record is mandatory.

  Advantageous

• BPM, workflow automation or ECM-related internships or academic projects.
• Experience in consulting, professional services or systems integration.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, middleware or web services.
• Exposure to analytics, monitoring dashboards or RPA.
• Valid South African driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Gauteng.

• R20,000 to 25,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
