EXPERIENCED CNC TURNER OPERATOR & SETTER

AMF, a well established Engineering company based in George, Western Cape, designs and manufactures highly complex and precision stainless steel road tanker safety equipment for both local and international markets, is looking for an experienced and skilled CNC Turner operator and setter to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 3 consecutive/recent years CNC TURNING OPERATOR & SETTER experience (setter – tooling selection, tool setting, programming, QC experience non-negotiable)
• Experience on CNC Turning machines with chucks and jaws, 2 axis mandatory
• Proficient in Fanuc controls
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining mathematics
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
• Extensive experience machining stainless steel
• Ability to work i ndependently, proactively, and under pressu re to meet deadlines
• Precision engineering at a very high level (not repetitive production)
• Opportunity to grow into programming and process improvement, if so desired

• Stable long term employment, subject to 3 month probation period
• Position available immediately
• Annual leave over December/January
