AI Automation Engineer (iOCO0127)

Build an AI-native Payments Operating System, automating high-risk financial operations (reconciliations, audit, reporting, incident handling) into scalable, auditable systems — with control integrity, not just speed.

What you'll do

• Build/deploy agentic workflows for reconciliations, audit prep, and financial analytics
• Use Claude/Anthropic APIs, Java (Spring AI)/Python orchestration, n8n, and MCP-style multi-agent coordination
• Integrate systems via APIs, data pipelines, and reporting tools
• Identify automation opportunities while maintaining human oversight/approval where needed
• Ensure workflows are production-ready, auditable, and compliant
• Build an AI-native Payments Operating System, automating high-risk financial operations (reconciliations, audit, reporting, incident handling) into scalable, auditable systems — with control integrity, not just speed.
• Governance & Risk
  • Risk-tier every automation before building
  • Each solution needs a named Process Owner, documented data flows, access controls, and full audit logging.
• Platform Building
  • Build reusable frameworks, templates, dashboards (efficiency, cost, risk, ROI metrics)
  • Document standards and train Payments teams on the tools
• Collaboration
  • Works with Payments Backend, Infrastructure, Compliance/Audit, and the AI Centre of Excellence
  • Translates business/finance needs into technical roadmaps

Your Expertise

• Hands-on production AI/agentic systems experience; strong grasp of LLM orchestration, multi-agent systems, and AI failure modes in high-stakes settings
• Proficiency: Spring AI/Python, workflow engines (n8n+), Anthropic/Claude-type APIs
• End-to-end delivery ability (Discovery → Design → Build → Deploy → Optimize)
• Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; strong ownership and execution bias; can bridge business and engineering.
