Senior Civil Engineer - Water

Our client is leading engineering consultancy delivering innovative and technically complex infrastructure solutions across South Africa. They are looking for a highly skilled, professionally registered Senior Civil Engineer specialising in Water to join their team in Pretoria.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced water professional to take technical ownership of projects, lead water infrastructure design, provide engineering solutions and contribute to the successful delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ post-professional registration experience within the civil engineering sector, specialising in water infrastructure
• Education : BEng/ BSc/ BTech in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)
• Strong experience in water treatment plant design and associated water infrastructure
• Proven experience in the design and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from concept through to detailed design and implementation.
• Provide technical expertise on water treatment plants, water networks, pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs and related infrastructure.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, tender documentation and technical reports.
• Manage technical deliverables while coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, clients and contractors.
