Professional Quantity Surveyor

Our client is an established professional quantity surveying consultancy delivering high-quality cost management and quantity surveying services across a diverse portfolio of projects. They are looking for an experienced Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their team and take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, providing expert commercial guidance while building strong relationships with clients and project teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ relevant Quantity Surveying experience, with strong professional consultancy experience
• Education : BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying
• Registered with SACQSP as a Professional Quantity Surveyor
• Proven experience across commercial, retail, residential, industrial and/or mixed-use developments

Responsibilities

• Manage quantity surveying projects from inception through to completion, ensuring commercial objectives, budgets and project timelines are achieved.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies, cost plans, tender documentation and bills of quantities.
• Monitor project expenditure, assess variations and prepare valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
• Provide professional commercial advice to clients, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
