Senior SharePoint Developer: Cape Town: Immediate Start > Project Completion: Hybrid: Cape Town City Centre

Experience Required

• 5 years IT experience, preferably in applications development, 3 of which are in service-oriented solutions architecture/design in a Microsoft development environment
• Able to develop software solutions in a MS Team systems environment using technologies such as VisualStudio.Net, Windows Workflow Foundation, SharePoint, C#.Net, SQL, SQL Reporting Services
• Knowledge of service-oriented development lifecycle methodology, and modelling frameworks such as SOMF, and discovery & analysis modelling notation.
• Developing User experience architectures; business process and workflow designs; data architecture.
• Managing Application development projects through the Systems Development Lifecycle within Azure DevOps
• In-depth experience in solution design and knowledge of
• SOA At least 5 years as a SharePoint developer
• At least 3 years as a Power App developer

InfoPath Conversion

• Analyse existing InfoPath applications in SharePoint 2016, identify requirements, and design a conversion strategy to migrate to SharePoint online. Power Apps Development
• Develop new applications in Power Apps to replace legacy InfoPath forms, ensuring improved user experience, functionality, and responsiveness. Workflow Automation
• Leverage Power Automate to build workflows that replicate and enhance InfoPath functionalities, integrating across SharePoint online and other Office online services. Requirement Gathering
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, gather detailed specifications, and develop solutions that meet organizational needs. Integration & Customization
• Customize Power Apps solutions to integrate with other Office online tools and external data sources where needed.
• Testing & Documentation
• Conduct thorough testing, troubleshoot issues, and maintain technical documentation to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing maintenance. User Training
• Provide support and training to end-users on new Power Apps applications and workflows to drive adoption and efficient usage.

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap experience;

Participate in all phases of the software application development life cycle with an emphasis on solution design, development and configuration of internal and external web or mobile software solution utilising SharePoint JavaScript, CSS, HTML, HTML5, SQL Server, Microsoft .NET Framework and ASP.NET MVC, SharePoint Development and Power Platform development

• Strong experience in developing custom applications and forms in Power Apps for SharePoint Online. InfoPath
• Proven background in InfoPath 2016, including form customization, rules, and workflows. SharePoint
• Experience with both SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online (SharePoint online), including migration from on premises to cloud environments. Power Automate (Flow)
• Proficiency in designing and implementing workflows using Power Automate to automate business processes. Office online & Microsoft online Suit
• Knowledge of the broader Office online ecosystem, including Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive, to enhance app integrations.
• Scripting Languages
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, PowerShell, and other scripting languages relevant to SharePoint and Power Platform customization.
