Rollout Manager (ROM) - Class 2

FACT

The Class 2 ROM resource covers day-to-day rollout execution, alignment and escalation, reporting and quality / health and safety audits, Nokia tool utilisation and cost optimisation support.

  • Ensure deployment activities are executed within the scope of the contract and within the agreed planning, specifications and quality standard, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Rollout Management Plan and take concurrence from the Project Manager. Establish baseline site planning for the full project.
  • Project set-up and initiation in rollout management tools.
  • Liaise with Project Manager and customer as needed for escalations on scope, processes and/or budget. Maintain resource plan and forecast including own resources, subcontractor needs and tools.
  • Secure availability and accuracy of deployment work orders sent to appropriate teams. Track all project activities till closure.
  • Ensure customer sign-off after site completion and closure of subcontractor invoicing for issuance of work completion certificate and invoice processing.
  • Keep close contact with the Project department for everything which concerns planning, setting up and executing the deployment plan.
  • Act as bridge between the Project team and suppliers' teams for timely execution of the deployment plan.
  • Perform site installation acceptance and supplier delivery confirmation (goods receipt).
  • Identify and manage planning contingencies.
  • Manage day-to-day operational internal interfaces.
  • Identify additional works requested by subcontractor and/or customer and escalate to Project Manager and local IPO Deployment Delivery for up-scope, new Cost Base Line or cost of non-quality classification.
  • Publish daily / fortnightly / monthly reports in the format desired and requested by the Project.
  • Timely highlight issues and roadblocks to local IPO Deployment Delivery and Project Manager for resolution.
  • Ensure onsite and remote quality & health and safety audits are done as per project health and safety target requirements.
  • Nokia tools (NDPd, RDP, JPC): achieve 100% utilisation and project coverage.
  • Manage deployment cost: track Non-Conformance Cost (NCC) and reduce third-party cost by the agreed target as given by Nokia.

A relevant qualification, Diploma/Degree in Project Management or BCom / BTech / Degree in IT, Engineering or Business Management Telecommunications / Networking qualification Project Management certification – PMP / PRINCE2 Agile / Scrum certification, ITIL Foundation
