The Lekker Network is a business network focused on connecting Saffies across the world, creating opportunities and helping members grow. As we continue to build the brand and strengthen our marketing, we’re looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join the team.

This is a role for someone who enjoys creating a wide range of marketing content and can take a brief from concept through to finished creative.

You’ll be responsible for bringing The Lekker Network’s brand and marketing campaigns to life across digital, email, social, events and other communications. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Lead, the agency and wider team to develop creative that is on-brand, engaging and commercially effective.

The role will suit someone who is visually creative, organised, comfortable working to deadlines and confident taking a brief and turning it into strong creative work.

What you'll be doing

Social & digital

• Create engaging digital graphics and campaign creatives
• Develop creative for paid and organic campaigns
• Create graphics to support member stories, thought leadership and content
• Design email marketing assets and digital communications
• Develop templates that make ongoing content creation more efficient

Events

• Create event and summit branding and supporting collateral
• Design invitations, banners, signage and digital event assets
• Develop presentations and supporting graphics
• Create sponsor and partner assets
• Adapt creative across multiple formats and platforms

Brand & marketing

• Apply and maintain The Lekker Network's visual identity across all touchpoints
• Develop creative concepts from marketing briefs
• Support campaigns from initial concept through to final artwork
• Help evolve the brand creatively as the business grows
• Maintain consistency across all communications

Content

• Create visual assets for member success stories and case studies
• Help bring video and longer-form content to life with supporting graphics
• Create infographics and simple data visualisations
• Repurpose existing creative for different channels and formats

What we're looking for

• 2–4 years' experience in graphic design or a similar role
• A strong portfolio demonstrating digital and marketing design
• Strong working knowledge of Canva, Google Suite, Figma and Adobe Photoshop
• Experience designing for digital platforms
• Good understanding of typography, layout, composition and visual hierarchy
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work from a brief but also bring your own creative thinking
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Good understanding of brand consistency
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
