Electrical Engineer - Transmission

Our client has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer in Pretoria to work on complex substation projects across the full engineering project lifecycle. The successful candidate will bring practical EHV and HV substation experience, strong technical capability and the ability to engage effectively with clients and project stakeholders.

The Role

• Deliver electrical engineering projects across ECSA stages 1-6
• Undertake electrical design and drafting for substation projects
• Support the preparation and evaluation of RFQs
• Coordinate with clients and supply authorities.

Minimum Requirements

• B.Eng, B.Sc. or B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 4 years' experience within EHV and HV substations.
• Experience in distribution substation design and construction management.
• Working knowledge of relevant industry standards, with Eskom, NRS and IEEE exposure being advantageous.
• CDEGS (AutoGrid Pro) experience.
• AutoCAD, DIgSILENT and ETAP knowledge will be advantageous
