Job Introduction

Purpose of the role; will be responsible for the forecasting, planning and optimisation of cash centre float levels, ATM cash replenishment activities across banking and white-label ATM clients. The role is responsible for analysing ATM cash requirements, forecasting demand, optimising replenishment frequencies, planning and coordinating ATM loading requirements to support service delivery, cash availability and operational efficiency. The role will use data, forecasting models and operational insights to continuously improve cash centre float levels, ATM cash planning, reduce unnecessary cash holdings and movements, optimise routes and ensure that ATM service levels and client requirements are consistently met.

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive)

  • Placing orders for cash centers.
  • Manage centers cash and ATM forecasting and replenishment planning nationally.
  • Analyse historical ATM and centers usage and transaction data to accurately forecast cash requirements.
  • Determine when ATMs need to be replenished and the required cash quantities.
  • Develop and optimise ATM replenishment schedules and routes.
  • Coordinate ATM cash packing and loading requirements with relevant operational teams.
  • Monitor ATM cash-outs, replenishment frequency and service levels.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary trips, kilometres, cash movements and operational costs.
  • Develop and monitor forecasting, planning and optimisation reports and KPIs.
  • Use data and analytics to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with Operations, Cash Centres, Finance, IT and client-facing teams to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Cash center, ATM planning, forecasting and route efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1–3 years' experience in forecasting, planning, logistics, operations or optimization.
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with planning and optimization.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools will be advantageous.
  • Experience in the ATM, banking, cash management or security industry will be advantageous.
