CONSTRUCTION MANAGER | JOHANNESBURG & CAPE TOWN

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction projects in Johannesburg and Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with strong site leadership, project coordination and delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities from planning through to completion.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractor resources.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, quality and costs.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
• Implement and maintain effective health, safety and quality practices.
• Identify project risks, delays and challenges and implement corrective action.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' relevant construction management experience.
• Proven experience managing construction projects and site teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong planning, organisational and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Sound understanding of health, safety, quality and contractual requirements.
