Junior Accountant - Contract (CR788)

Our client, a manufacturing company based in Wellington, is looking for Junior Accountant (Accountant 1) to join their finance team for a three month contract period.

The position reports directly to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the full Accounting function for layer farming operations.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Analyse and report financial performance
• Perform accounting, stock costing and admin procedures
• Manage working capital, stock and compile annual ops budgets
• Verify monthly income, balance sheet and compile monthly reports
• Manage internal financial systems and audits
• Responsible for day to day operational/admin functions

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant Post matric qualification
• Three years relevant experience
• SAGE experience will be advantageous
• Must have own reliable transport and be willing to travel to farms on occasion
