Professional Accountant

We have an amazing opportunity for Professional Accountant at an established financial services and accounting firm based in Cape Town! The main purpose of this role is:

• Managing end-to-end accounting functions, compiling and reviewing financial statements, overseeing tax computations, and supervising junior staff within the FSP department.

We require a candidate with

• Solid background compiling and independently reviewing financial statements for SMEs, corporate entities, trusts, and individuals.
• Experience reviewing working papers and providing on-the-job coaching and supervision to junior clerks.
• Strong knowledge of income tax computations, tax return submissions, and group/individual tax planning.
• Proven capability managing monthly billing, achieving recovery targets, and handling daily client and auditor queries.
