Site Engineer (Civil)

Our client, a construction and projects company based in Johannesburg, is seeking a Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee site operations, coordinate construction activities and ensure projects remain on schedule.

Requirements

• Professional registration with SACPCMP as Pr.CM or Pr.CPM, or
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech.Eng
• Strong site supervision and construction management experience
• Good understanding of construction programmes and production targets
• Strong problem-solving and site coordination abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and supervise site personnel
• Set and maintain production targets and work sequences
• Implement and update construction programmes and schedules
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed according to programme
• Identify and resolve on-site problems
• Proactively prevent potential delays and disruptions
• Coordinate site activities to ensure efficient project delivery
