Equipment & Inventory Manager Required

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DYNAMIC CANDIDATE TO JOIN OUR OPERATIONAL TEAM AT NEWREST JET PARK.
RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible for
- Manage all equipment warehouse operations.
- Ensure accurate packing of equipment and bar trolleys according to airline specifications.
- Maintain inventory levels and equipment availability to support daily flight schedules.
- Oversee stock counts, cycle counts and accurate monthly inventories.
- Monitor equipment losses, damages and stock discrepancies.
- Manage airline-owned inventory and equipment floats.
- Prepare inventory reports, KPI reports and corrective action plans.
- Ensure that the daily Box times are met as per the required box times.
- Ensure that all equipment is packed as per GLP’s including dead head’s.
- Ensure that equipment carts are packed according to clients’ Equipment loading plan (ELP) and issued to subordinates daily.
- Check and sign the GLP’s.
- Ensure that the kitting processes are followed.
- Effective handling of client objections and complaints.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Investigate customer quality issues, develop and implement corrective actions supported by a CAR analysis.
- Ensure that the rosters are done accurately and timeously.
- Full Management of the Equipment team inclusive of bar packing and warehouse management.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in one or more of the following:
- Airline catering operations.
- Catering operations and equipment management.
- FMCG distribution.
- Hospitality logistics.
- Retail distribution centres.
- Inventory and warehouse management.
SKILLS
- Inventory and Asset control.
- KPI management and operational reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- ERP and/or inventory management systems.
- Warehouse and equipment management.
- Client and stakeholder relationship management.
