VACANCY: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER / TECHNOLOGIST

FOCI Group is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineering Technologist to join our engineering team.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

• Professional Engineer – Pr. Eng.

• Professional Engineering Technologist – Pr. Tech. Eng.

STRICTLY NO ECSA CANDIDATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Applicants registered as Candidate Engineers or Candidate Engineering Technologists will not be considered.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng / BSc Eng / BTech or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering

• Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)

• Relevant electrical engineering design and project experience

• Experience preparing technical specifications, drawings, reports and engineering documentation

• Experience with electrical systems, installations, maintenance and/or infrastructure projects

• Strong understanding of applicable South African electrical standards, regulations and engineering practices

• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary project teams

• Good technical reporting and communication skills
