Role Description

This full-time, on-site franchise Car Sales Manager role is based in Welkom. The Car Sales Manager will oversee the daily operations of the sales floor, ensuring that sales processes are followed consistently and effectively. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring the sales team, setting and monitoring sales targets, and implementing strategies to improve overall customer satisfaction and retention. The role also involves handling key customer interactions, resolving escalated service issues, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with finance and marketing teams to optimise dealership performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the sales department to achieve sales and gross profit targets
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
• Meet sales targets performance goals
• Lead, motivate and develop staff
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer service
• Present mobility solutions to meet customer needs
• Resolve customer queries and maintain high customer satisfaction

Ideal Profile

• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or related field
• 3+ years’ sales experience
• Proven track record of achieving sales, gross profit and profitability targets
• Excellent negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills
• Computer literate and apply policies & procedures
• Business minded
• Valid South African Driver’s Licence
• Clear criminal record
