WEALTH MANAGER ASSISTANT – CAPE TOWN
Job Summary
The primary objective of this role is to support Wealth Managers with all administrative functions relating to the servicing of existing and prospective clients, with a particular focus on investment and retirement fund administration.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Wealth Manager Support
- Manage turnaround times and ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide prompt feedback and updates on tasks and client matters.
- Assist with day-to-day administrative support, including following up on outstanding information.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in all work completed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute positively to the client experience.
- Demonstrate proactive task management and problem-solving abilities.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the first point of contact for queries and provide appropriate support.
2. Product Administration Knowledge
Maintain a sound understanding of investment product administration, including but not limited to:
- Living Annuities
- Life Annuities
- Retirement Annuities
- Preservation Funds
- Discretionary Investments
- Endowments
- Tax-Free Savings Investments
3. Client Servicing Administration
- Process investment switches, withdrawals, and other servicing instructions.
- Prepare servicing documentation for client review and signature.
- Monitor outstanding servicing instructions and ensure completion.
- Liaise with product providers regarding servicing requests and updates.
- Assist with Section 14 and Section 50 transfer administration.
- Assist with annual fee renewal administration.
- Keep clients informed regarding the progress of servicing instructions.
- Escalate urgent or complex matters to the Wealth Manager when appropriate.
4. CRM and Client Record Management
- Ensure all client communications and servicing activities are accurately recorded on the CRM system.
- Maintain accurate client demographic, banking, and compliance information.
- Ensure all client documentation is correctly filed and maintained.
- Follow up on outstanding documentation required to complete servicing requests.
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in investment administration will be advantageous.

Remuneration
