Network Administrator

Network Administrator with minimum 4 -6 years’ relevant network experience, MCSA and CCNA certification required to provide technical support, maintenance, configurations, installation of network infrastructure and related equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support, maintenance, configuration, installation of network infrastructure and related equipment
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting – coordinate and communicate repairs and recoveries, apply patches and updates to network, upgrade tools, network diagrams, analyse logs and identify potential issues with network.
• Information security – maintain network security, ensure security of data, security monitoring, manage and configure routers, switches and firewalls
• Network Engineering – upgrade network infrastructure, performance reporting, plan and implement switch and router configuration, plan and implement network QoS / CoS, maintain network stability
• Maintain operation configuration and procedure standards
• IT projects – Introduce and integrate new technologies, configurate solutions, research and recommend innovative and automated approached, Performance tuning, hardware upgrades, new connectivity

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12
• MSCA (NQF4) essential
• CCNA certificate essential
• 4-6 years’ experience in System/Network Administration essential
• Valid driver’s license, clear criminal and valid passport required
• Knowledge of various computer systems, servers, networks and programs required
