Concrete Civil Site Supervisor/Foreman

If you have a strong background in concrete finishing and waterproofing and know how to keep construction teams and site activities on track, this opportunity could be for you. Our client is looking for a capable and experienced Concrete Civil Site Supervisor / Foreman to oversee site operations and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the required standards

Requirements

• 5–8 years’ experience in waterproofing and concrete finishing
• Proven experience managing construction teams
• Experience across pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, particularly SANS 1200
• Ability to manage resources efficiently and effectively
• Reservoir construction experience will be an advantage
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven, reliable, and results-oriented
• Valid driver’s license
• Preference will be given to candidates residing close or within Wellington and Cape Town and surrounds

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction teams and daily site activities
• Oversee concrete-related construction and finishing activities
• Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines
• Manage site resources, materials, equipment, and labour effectively
• Monitor workmanship and ensure appropriate construction methods are followed
• Assist with resolving technical and site-related challenges
• Maintain effective communication with project management, contractors, and site teams
• Ensure compliance with relevant construction standards, including SANS 1200
• Provide guidance and support to site personnel to maintain productivity and quality
