As a key part of our shop team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering an excellent shopping experience while supporting daily operations in-store .

Qualifications And Level Of Experience Required

• A Grade 12 certificate/Matric
• Previous experience in a similar role/s within the clothing and or textile industry would be an advantage
• Understanding standard operating procedures within the sample shop

• Customer Service
• Provide excellent customer service to give customers a great shopping experience
• 5 star customer service principles
• Cashier Duties
• Process Card Payments
• Process New staff accounts
• Reporting discrepancies and problems to the Supervisor
• Till balancing
• Merchandising
• Process to separate damaged and non-damagedstock
• Count Stock
• Check that price tickets are always in stock
• Correct Pricing of stock
• Attractive Displays of stock
• Correct Hanger Inserts
• Correct Departments
• General Housekeeping
• Maintain overall cleanliness
• Boxes stacked safely and neatly
• Clear walkways
• Products neatly aligned
• Be alert and report any suspicious activity or shoplifiting
• Reporting time to Supervisor
• Incident Accuracy
• Ad Hoc Duties
• Support the Sample Shop Supervisor with ad hoc duties / direct instructions when operationally required
