Electrical Engineering Professionals

Our client is looking to connect with experienced Electrical Engineers and Technologists who have a background in Data Centre projects. The opportunity is open across multiple levels of seniority, offering scope for professionals with solid industry experience through to Senior and Associate-level candidates.

The Opportunity

• Work on electrical engineering projects within the Data Centre sector.
• Deliver electrical engineering designs and technical documentation.
• Undertake design calculations and technical assessments.
• Coordinate electrical systems and designs with other engineering disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings and engage with clients and project stakeholders.
• Review designs and technical deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Provide technical input throughout project design and delivery.
• Assist with construction-stage queries, inspections and technical problem-solving.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members at senior levels.

Key Requirements

• Degree, BTech or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant industry experience; this opportunity is not aimed at graduates.
• Demonstrated Data Centre project experience.
• Suitable candidates may range from Engineer/Technologist level through to Senior or Associate level.
• Strong technical and design capabilities.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical engineering standards and design practices.
• Good project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Based in Cape Town or Johannesburg, or willing to relocate to either location.
