Recruitment Consultant: Lodge or Hospitality Background? Earn Well, Have Fun

So if you worked in a lodge, or worked on a yacht or are super competitive and love being surrounded by young professionals starting out their career, get hold of me.

You'll be a matchmaker. Your job is to get to know people and businesses well enough to bring the right two together.

• Speak to clients every day to understand their business, their team and what they really need in a new hire
• Get to know candidates properly: what they're good at, what they want next and what makes them tick
• Match the right people to the right jobs, and know why it's a good fit
• Build long-term relationships, so clients and candidates come back to you again and again
• Introduce candidates to clients and support them through interviews and offers
• Work closely with the team and share what you learn

You'll spend most of your day on the phone and in conversation. If you enjoy people, you'll do well here.

Qualifications

• A degree is a must, ideally a B Com from a top university

Experience

• Worked in a lodge, on the boats or in hospitality (this is where many of our best recruiters started)
• Sales or client-facing experience is a bonus, but not essential

You are

• Full of energy and easy to talk to
• Sporty and competitive, and you like to win
• Hungry to earn well and happy to work for it
• Great with people, and able to build trust quickly
• Just starting out in your career and keen to learn

• A basic salary of R20 000 to R28 000 a month, depending on experience
• Uncapped commission on top. Once you've hit your thresholds, you can earn R20 000 or more per successful placement
• Room to earn well beyond your peers. Our top recruiters earn over R1 million a year, including commission
