Strong data engineering, ETL, integration and data product development experience using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric, Synapse Analytics and ADLS Gen2.
Proven ability to design, build and operationalise reusable data products that provide trusted, governed and consumable data for analytics, reporting, controls and downstream platform use cases.
Excellent SQL skills, including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions and optimisation.
Extensive experience with SQL Server and SSIS.
Hands-on experience integrating with REST APIs, including authentication, pagination, error handling and performance optimisation.
Experience building resilient ETL, orchestration and scheduled reporting automation.
Strong knowledge of data modelling methodologies including Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional (Kimball) modelling.
Experience building and maintaining Azure Analysis Services models (tabular and multidimensional).
Strong non-functional design skills: monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, resilience, evidence capture and performance tuning.
Experience using source control (preferably Git) and CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps.
Understanding and experience of deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
