NETBALL COACHING VACANCY – FIRST TEAM

• Position: First Team Netball Coach
• Qualification: Minimum Level 3 Netball Coaching Qualification
• Experience: Previous First Team / Senior School coaching experience preferred
• Location: JHB South
• Start Date: TBC

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and dedicated Level 3 Netball Coach to take charge of our First Team Netball side.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Netball Level 3 Coaching Qualification
• Proven experience coaching at First Team / senior level
• Strong knowledge of netball tactics, rules and technical development
• Ability to plan and deliver structured, high-quality training sessions
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to develop players both individually and as a team
• Ability to prepare the team for competitive fixtures and tournaments
• Umpiring knowledge/experience would be advantageous
• Knowledge of other sporting codes, particularly athletics, would be an advantage
• Professional, reliable and committed approach to coaching
• Must be able to work effectively with players, coaches, parents and the wider sports department

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the First Team Netball programme
• Plan and conduct weekly training sessions
• Manage match-day preparation and team selection
• Develop tactical and technical skills
• Monitor player performance and development
• Maintain a positive, professional and competitive team culture
• Work closely with the Sports Department and other coaches
• Assist with the overall development of the school’s netball programme
