About the Role

We are seeking experienced Front-End Developers to join a major telecommunications project on a 3-year fixed-term contract. You will play a critical role in the modernization and delivery of key internal systems.

Your primary focus will be on the development and implementation of FR025 and BR023 requirements, which specifically involve building role-based dashboards, complex data capture screens, and workflow approval interfaces. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented developer who understands the unique challenges of the telecoms sector, particularly regarding data integrity and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Development of Role-Based Dashboards (FR025): Design and build dynamic, responsive dashboards that display data and metrics based on specific user roles (e.g., Admin, Technician, Manager). Ensure data visualization is clear and performance is optimized.

Data Capture Screens (BR023): Develop high-performance, user-friendly input forms and data capture screens. Ensure robust validation (both client-side and integration with backend) to maintain high data quality standards required in telecommunications.

Workflow Approval Interfaces: Implement front-end logic for complex business workflows, including multi-step approval processes, status tracking (pending, approved, rejected), and user notifications.

API Integration: Integrate front-end components with backend RESTful APIs and microservices.

Cross-Browser & Responsive Design: Ensure applications function seamlessly across various devices and browsers used within the enterprise environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and adhere to version control best practices (Git).

Key Requirements

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Proven experience building UI components that conditionally render based on user permissions and roles.

Complex Forms: Experience building complex "Capture Screens" with multi-field validation, auto-population, and error handling.

Workflow UI: Experience implementing visual indicators for workflow statuses and approval chains.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent proven experience).

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Front-End Development.

Core Technologies

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

Strong experience with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).

Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors (SASS/LESS).

State Management: Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, NgRx, Vuex).

Telecoms Context: Previous experience working in the Telecommunications industry is highly advantageous.

South African Context: Must be eligible to work in South Africa. Experience with South African telecom regulatory environments or local enterprise systems is a plus.
