Product Developer - Western Cape

Our Western Cape client is seeking an experienced Product Developer to develop new products, support innovation and product improvement in their Food FMCG facility

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new product development projects from concept to launch
• Develop and optimise product formulations
• Conduct laboratory, pilot, and production-scale trials
• Evaluate raw materials and finished product performance
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve development and production challenges
• Develop and maintain product specifications and technical documentation
• Support production scale-up and implementation of new products
• Investigate product quality issues and implement corrective improvements
• Monitor project timelines and development milestones
• Ensure products comply with applicable food safety and quality standards

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• BSc/ National Diploma Food Science/ Food Technology
• 5 - 7 Years FMCG Product Development experience
• Knowledge of product formulation and manufacturing processes
• Experience managing product trials and development projects
