To supply a service to the other Departments in the Factory by manufacturing or repairing equipment to a high standard of Engineering practice and procedure.
To perform all round machine shop machining activities
Production of new components as outlined from engineering drawings
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Drill Press
Cut off machine and relevant equipment and tools relating.
Milling Machine and Turning
Centre lathe and Milling works in performing refurbishment of machine components
Fault Finding and Diagnosis
Perform maintenance requirements regularly

Qualifications, Experience And Personal Qualities

Matric, N3 with Trade Certificate
Minimum of 3 years in a similar position within a factory environment
Must have heavy experience, be able to work under minimal supervision in a high demanding environment
Have good communication skills, must be able to read and write English
And must display positive attitude towards safety.
