#Hiring a Professional Quantity Surveyor in Johannesburg

Our client, a well-established Quantity Surveying consultancy, is looking for a Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) to join their Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle, with strong estimating and commercial capabilities.

Requirements

• SACQSP Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with a minimum of 2 years’ post-registration experience.
• Education : BSc (Honours) in Quantity Surveying
• 5–10 years’ overall Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong proficiency in quantity surveying software and computer-based QS systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Quantity Surveying services across all six stages of the project delivery cycle.
• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and commercial documentation.
• Provide professional QS advice to public and private sector clients.
• Adapt to new project requirements and maintain relevant SACQSP CPD activities.
