Project Manager | 36 months Contract

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major hospital construction projects in East Africa. This is a 36-month contract suited to a senior construction professional with extensive experience delivering complex healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage hospital construction projects from planning through to completion.
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, quality, resources and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to specifications, timelines and standards.
• Identify and manage project risks, challenges and potential delays.
• Ensure effective implementation of health, safety and quality requirements.
• Provide regular project progress reports to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science or a related field.
• 20+ years’ relevant project management experience.
• Proven experience specialising in the construction of hospitals or major healthcare facilities.
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Willingness and ability to work in East Africa for the duration of the contract.
