We’re looking for two UCA Business Coaches | Port Elizabeth & Johannesburg

The Unconventional CA (UCA) is looking for a business coache to support a client’s Enterprise and Supplier Development programme through site visits and post-investment reviews of Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSEs).

Locations

• Port Elizabeth / Gqeberha: Ideally based locally. Johannesburg-based candidates willing to travel to Port Elizabeth will also be considered.

Who should apply?

• Qualified CA(SA)s, including newly qualified professionals.

• Candidates who have completed articles and are eligible to register as CA(SA).

• Candidates currently completing articles who have strong financial analysis skills and capacity to undertake the assignment.

What the work involves

You will engage with business owners, conduct site visits and complete a detailed review covering:

• Instructions and guidance will be provided.

However the role, will require soft skills, excellent communication, both theoretical knowledge, and the ability to think on your feet.

The assignment will run from the 2nd of October to the 8th of October 2026.

This assignment requires sound judgement, attention to detail and the confidence to ask the right questions. You should be comfortable reviewing financial statements, management accounts, invoices and bank statements, and translating your findings into practical business advice.

Experience working with SMEs, business advisory or ESD programmes would be an advantage. Candidates must be available for in-person site visits and willing to travel as required.
