Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

Our client is looking for a highly capable QS/Estimator to strengthen their team in Centurion. The successful candidate will bring solid construction-sector experience, advanced Candy knowledge and the ability to produce accurate estimates within demanding deadlines.

Requirements

• Must have 5-10 years of experience.
• Must be registered with the SACQSP.
• Education: BSc / BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying
• Extensive experience working with Candy.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating principles.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant estimation software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing effectively to a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention-to-detail capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate construction cost estimates.
• Review tender information, project documentation and specifications.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
• Support the preparation and submission of tenders.
• Evaluate pricing and identify potential cost considerations.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure commercially sound estimates.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation.
