About the Opportunity

A well-established accounting firm based in Durbanville, Cape Town is looking for SAIPA Trainee Accountants to join their team and complete their 3-year SAIPA training contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting graduate or current SAIPA clerk looking to gain practical experience across a diverse client base while working towards their professional qualification

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Complete bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with management accounts and statements
• Assist with audit-related activities
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Provide support across a portfolio of clients
• Gain practical exposure to a variety of accounting functions

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant Accounting degree/diploma
• BCom Accounting or similar qualification preferred
• Candidates looking to complete a SAIPA training contract
• Recent graduates and current SAIPA clerks are encouraged to apply
• Strong academic record
• Good attention to detail and numerical ability
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Must currently reside in Cape Town
• Candidates who are immediately available will be prioritised
