ELECTRICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN - RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION

An opportunity is available for an Electrical Support Technician to contribute to the delivery of residential construction projects. Our client requires a qualified electrical professional who can provide practical technical assistance, monitor electrical work and support site teams in maintaining quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of electrical work across residential developments.
• Assist site teams and contractors with electrical-related technical requirements.
• Inspect completed electrical work and identify areas requiring attention.
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical faults and construction-related issues.
• Monitor electrical installations for quality and adherence to approved requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and relevant documentation.
• Assist with coordinating electrical contractors and activities.
• Follow up on outstanding electrical work and remedial requirements.
• Support site inspections and quality-control processes.
• Communicate progress, concerns and technical issues to relevant personnel.
• Promote safe working practices during electrical activities.

Requirements

• Relevant electrical qualification.
• Practical experience within residential construction, building or a related environment.
• Sound knowledge of electrical installations and site practices.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a wider project team.
