Mining Learnership Programme

We are offering a full-time Mining Learnership Programme in Secunda, Mpumalanga, for candidates interested in developing practical skills in the mining and artisan sectors.

The programme covers Diesel Mechanics, Boiler Making, Fitting and Turning, and Instrumentation. Successful learners can receive advertised monthly earnings of between R8,500 and R12,500 during training.

Applicants with Matric or a relevant NQF qualification from a TVET college may be considered, and previous work experience is not required.

The opportunity may suit young South Africans looking to build technical experience and establish a career pathway in mining and related industries.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Be interested in mining and artisan-related careers
• Have a Matric certificate or relevant NQF qualification from a TVET college
• Be willing to complete theoretical and practical training
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be prepared to follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Have a medical clearance certificate confirming suitability for the programme
• Be willing to participate in workplace training and assessments
• Previous work experience is not required
• The programme particularly targets young people between 18 and 35 years old
