ICU Qualified – Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced ICU Qualified Registered Nurse to join a leading healthcare organisation in Mpumalanga. • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, clinical condition, and response to treatment.
• Operate and monitor advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
• Administer medication and treatments safely and according to prescribed orders.
• Recognise and respond promptly to changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assist doctors with critical care procedures and interventions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols.
• Monitor and maintain patient safety at all times.
• Collaborate with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide appropriate support and communication to patients’ families.
• Ensure the safe handling and use of ICU equipment.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and comply with SANC requirements.
• Promote a high standard of quality, patient-centred critical care nursing.

• Degree in Nursing (Essential).
• Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (Essential).
• Minimum 3 years’ Critical Care experience.
• Previous experience in an ICU environment.
• SANC Registered (Essential).
