What Will You Do

• Shadowing and supporting the current Occupational Therapist in the assessment of occupational disability and functional capacity in relation to claims.
• Assisting with the review and interpretation of medical and occupational information relevant to claims assessment.
• Developing an understanding of occupational requirements, functional limitations and their impact on a claimant's ability to perform their occupation.
• Supporting the Claims team with occupational therapy insights and recommendations where required.
• Assisting with research, case reviews and the identification of trends and insights that can improve claims assessment and decision-making.
• Building sufficient technical knowledge and experience to provide continuity of this specialist capability within Claims when the current Occupational Therapist retires in approximately three years.
