Site Agent - Civil Construction

Our client is an established construction company seeking an experienced Site Agent to take responsibility for the successful delivery of construction projects from site planning through to completion. The successful candidate will oversee site teams, manage programmes and production targets, control costs, and ensure that quality, safety and contractual requirements are consistently maintained.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional who is confident managing site operations, budgets, programmes and client relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ relevant civil construction experience specifically in Major Steel Pipelines, Roads & Earthworks and Bulk Water Storage
• Education : Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr.Eng, Pr.Tech OR with the SACPCMP as a Pr.CM
• Strong experience in site management and construction operations
• Proven ability to manage site teams, including foremen and engineers
• Strong understanding of construction planning, programmes and production targets
• Experience with daily costing, cost reporting and budget management
• Good knowledge of construction contracts and Conditions of Contract
• Strong quality and safety management knowledge
